Converting Influence has announced plans for its third annual Converters Expo to be held again at Lambeau Stadium, home of the Green Bay Packers. The event is drawing many Wisconsin and Midwest exhibitors, as well as companies from the east and west coasts and some representing international suppliers.

“We expect this year’s expo to move us to a new level,” says Bob Saari of Contract Converting, Appleton, WI, a Converting Influence Advisory Board Member. “With the response we received last year, we have opened additional exhibit space.” The Expo will show exhibitors’strengths in terms of the latest innovative converting and allied business offerings. On display will be everything from product manufacturing services, printers and packagers, to patent experts and equipment suppliers.

Also added this year are two seminars open to just 20 participants each in skyboxes for up-close, one-on-one discussions with experts in printing and sustainability. Dennis Curtin of Press Color Inc. will host the Latest in Flexo Printing seminar. Ron Hagemann of New Composite Partners will host the Sustainability for Converters seminar. Seminar panelists include Sayre Kos of Flexible Packaging magazine; Mike Rekitzke of NEW Plastics; John Baldus of the Wisconsin Office on Energy…and more.

The group has scheduled the March 4 day-long EXPO to attract product developers, marketers, buyers and outsourcers looking for help from exhibiting converters and associated companies.

In addition to the expo, a March 3 night-before nearby networking evening is scheduled and day-before factory tours are being developed. Nearly 100 exhibits are planned.
